  • Costa Rica is full of beautiful places and this is, without a doubt, the most magical of all. It is located in Guatuso, Alajuela in the Tenorio Volcano National Park. Celeste River has its name due the color of its turquoise waters produced by a chemical reaction, where the rivers Buena Vista and Roble converge, which count with different chemical characteristics creating the color. It is one of the most popular rivers in Costa Rica and it has been recognized as one of the favorites places in the country by locals and foreigners because the geological phenomena in changing its transparent water. The tour of its official trail will take you through an evergreen virgin forest with a great variety of flora and fauna. You will be fascinated by the environment, the waterfall and the dyer (where the river turns blue), you will be surprised by the rudimentary wooden bridges and you will perceive the smell of sulfur from its hotbeds. The visit to the National Park is very complete and you only need a day to see it.
