The National Museum of Costa Rica was born with the aim of providing the nation with a public space where their own natural and artistic products were deposited and classified. The museum houses permanent exhibitions in different rooms such as the Indigenous Gold, the Colonial House, the Pre-Columbian, the South Osa Palmar, and the Puntarenas showrooms. The museum also has a number of services like workshops, talks, researches and the library, which is opened to the public.
